Educational Support

People from Kilinochchi were badly affected by the recent civil war and many were made disabled and lost their parents. They could not afford to give their children a good education and are struggling financially to support their education.

Educational support started in April 2012 with 2 children and currently 12 children are attending. Two people are currently employed as teachers.

They are given educational equipment such as pencils, erasers, writing books, etc. After classes, they are provided with refreshments such as tea, biscuits and cakes.
