Supporting Orphans

This mission is to give hope to the children in Sri Lanka who are orphaned, abandoned, vulnerable, neglected or abused. We wanted to ensure that these young children have a bright future.

Anpu Sahotharar Illam (Loving Brethren Home) was established in 2001 for such children. Each child becomes part of a caring family environment in order to prepare them for their future. Children are accepted from 6 years of age. All the children attend the local school. Now they have a chance of an education which was previously inaccessible because of their circumstances. Up till now, 24 children are in the orphanage and many of them are in need of sponsors.

Sponsoring a child costs £25 per month which is less than a £1.00 per day. This will enable a child to be taken care of in the Home.
